I have a database of about 3,000 self-made billionaires 
They come from 3 groups 
#1   The Current Self-made Billionaires , about 1,100, example Bill Gates, Warren Buffett,
#2   The Dead Billionaires , about 1,000  , for example   Chung Ju-Yung, Jessie Livermore,
                                                   Thomas Edison,  Benjamin Franklin
#3   Dropout , about 1,000 -- here there is some overlap   Jessie Livermore also dropped out of billionaire rank


Take Carlos Slim
He owns about 200 companies, which include bakery, insurance, tires, telecom etc.

So Carlos Slim alone shows 200 ways


Another one is Aliko Dangote, he made his fortunes in
(1) Sugar
(2) Pasta
(3) Soft Drinks
(4) Cement
(5) Oil Refinery 
etc
So, Aliko has 5 or more ways
