He founed Mediacom in the basement of his son with his son in 1995

Before that he worked as pizza delivery in 1963 at age 14 

and he started a discotheque in his 20s

He was kind of an old enterpreneur, he discovered his passion (Cable TV) at the age of 36 and he founded his company Mediacom at age 46

His entry or key to the American dream was soccer
He was offered a full scholarhsip (tuition, room and board) in 1967 to Columbia University

In July 2018, he is negotiating to buy one of Italy's most famous soccer club AC Milan
