In 1974, at age 22, he graduated BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Birmingham

His first job was at Esso, the UK Branch of American Oil Giant Exxon

He did an MBA from London Business School

In 1992, at age 35, he was recruited by headhunter to work for US Venture Capitalist firm
Adventist International 

In 1998, at age 40, he founded his company INEOS 







INEOS today has more than 50 plants in 16 countries, and they produce specialty chemicals

 









In 2010 he moved INEOS to Rolle, Swtizerland to save tax.
It is estimated he save more than 100 million pound tax per year

In 2016, he moved INEOS back to London 

His latest venture, he built huge ships to trans LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) from US to UK.

He estimated that Shale Gas (from Fracking) cost 1/4 the cost of Natural Gas in UK
