To kill two birds with one stone, I have here a bonus question:
How long does it take to become a healthcare self-made billionaires?
Answer: it could be as short as 12 year.
Mr Robert Duggan above offers a good example.
In 2004, his son died of cancer. He knew nothing about cancer, but was determined to set all his heart and soul to the single purpose of combating cancer. He shows that someone without a MD, without a PhD, without a college degree, could accomplish in a dozen years.
He had a blockbluster cancer drug called Imbruvica, a potent, blockbuster treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia that drug giant AbbVie coveted. Robert Duggan his biotech firm Pharmacyclics in May 2015 to AbbVie for $21 billion, earning $3.5 billion in cash and stock from the deal before taxes.
At age 71, he became healthcare self-made billionaires.
